Hello December

My favorite time of year has arrived! Warm blankets, cozy fires, & marshmallow topped hot chocolate makes a perfect December night. Soon, my family will be gathered around catching each other up on their different stories of what’s happened this year; but, we all have one thing in common: the anticipation of Christmas.

Celebrating Christmas has always been the greatest unbreakable tradition in my family. All of the decorating, cooking, parties & spending time with everyone just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It is so much fun, but as I’m sure my fellow hosts know, it can be a lot of work.

Planning to make sure you have the right size tree for all the gifts & the endless headcounts to make sure you have enough space and food for everyone all while decorating & trying to go about everyday tasks can get a bit chaotic (like this sentence). & this year, like the last few, I am a part of planning the perfect Christmas.

So, throughout this month I will be sharing some of the ways my family & I prepare for Christmas with everything from cooking to gift wrapping. Brace yourself — it’s going to be a wild ride.
