Birthday Candles & Pumpkin Lights: My Halloween Celebration

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Halloween has come & gone, but for me, it’s not just about pumpkins & costumes—it’s the day I celebrate another trip around the sun.

This year, my Halloween birthday was everything I wanted it to be: cozy, magical, & full of small joys that made it truly special.

My day started with a slow, cozy morning (you know how I love those). A steamy cup of my favorite coffee in hand, I took a few moments to journal & set some intentions for the coming year. There’s something about birthdays that invites reflection—a quiet pause to soak in gratitude for everything this past year has brought & to get excited for what’s ahead.

Then, it was Halloween mode on! I kept the spooky decor a bit more minimal this year, saving my energy to go all out for the final two big holidays of the season. Oh, & an original Charmed marathon was absolutely on the agenda—because, let’s face it, Halloween without a little magic? Not a chance.

This year, I felt so much love from family & friends (& you all here in our little corner of the internet). I’m grateful for each message, each well-wish, & every little reminder that I’m surrounded by the best people. It’s these small moments & connections that make life feel extra special.

As I step into this new year, I feel inspired to keep embracing the beauty in everyday moments, from seasonal traditions to spontaneous adventures. Here’s to more cozy corners, more stories shared, & more of the little things that make life feel so intentional.
