Last week, some friends & I got to see each other Last week, some friends & I got to see each other during our annual trip. & whew, did we have a blast?! 👯‍♀️ It’s honestly the sweetest feeling going from seeing each other on Zoom every day to being together in person like this. Most people see the photos & the travel moments. What they don’t always see is the consistency behind it all. The daily conversations. The encouragement. The goal setting. The growth that happens over time at our own paces. & through all of that, these beautiful people become part of your real life. Real friendships that last a lifetime. This community is simply amazing, to say the least. There’s something really, truly special about being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see each other win. People who push you to dream bigger while reminding you to enjoy your life too. We work hard here. We show up. We help people reach their goals no matter how big or small, while changing our own lives in the process. & every once in a while, we get moments like these, where everyone is finally in the same place and it hits you all over again how grateful you are to be part of it. We really get to do this for work. & I just don’t think I’ll ever stop being thankful for that. A gentle take: your morning routine probably matte A gentle take: your morning routine probably matters more than your five-year plan. ☁️ I say this because our lives are built in the ordinary mornings like this. Starting off rushed & reactive sets the tone for the rest of your day the complete opposite of what an easy Saturday (or any day) should look like. So here’s to keeping it simple. + Make the bed + Freshen up & wash your face + Make a fresh cup of coffee or tea + Start your day when you’re ready Build a life that feels good in the AM & 5 years from now, you’ll be so glad you did. I used to keep telling myself I’d travel when life slowed down. When work wasn’t busy. When the timing felt just right. It never really does. At some point you just have to decide you’re allowed to live your life now, not later. If there’s a place you keep thinking about, stop waiting for the perfect scenario. Plan the weekend. Take the trip. Give yourself something to remember this year besides work & errands. This world is massive. Let’s talk healthy hair. If you know me, you kno Let’s talk healthy hair. If you know me, you know I love a good flat iron or blowout, & I DON’T plan on giving that up. But I have been trying to stop the daily damage where I actually can. Heatless curls have been my go to since discovering @eternalmusehair . I mean, who wouldn’t when this is the result you get? 😍 So I’ve only been using hot tools on wash days, & I’ve been focusing way more on keeping my strands healthy in between styling. Because if you didn’t know, most hair breakage comes from repeated dryness slowly damaging your ends, not just from one styling day. I stopped grabbing random oils that just coat my hair for 2 minutes & then dry right back out. I’m focusing instead on a hair care system with formulas that actually make my hair stronger & keep moisture in my ends longer. What I love about these women & so many others in What I love about these women & so many others in this business is that our days don’t look the same. We have different schedules. We are in different seasons of life. & we each bring different strengths into the mix. Some of us are balancing corporate jobs. Some are building around family life. Some are in a season of growth, others in a season that feels steadier. The beauty of it is there’s no one “right” way. We all have shared heart for helping & serving others in a way that fits real life. That’s what connects us. I think it’s easy to assume this has to look a certain way to work. But watching this group show up has reminded me how much room there actually is to be yourself here. If this resonates with you or you’re even just curious, we should chat. There’s room for you here.
