Hello Spring + Ways to Stay Motivated

Spring has arrived & made its presence known.

I’m here for it, honestly.

The days of having to walk outside into the literal FREEZING weather with endless layers on are almost over. However, this doesn’t mean that we’re completely off the hook. With spring comes seasonal allergies & all of the things related, so make sure you are taking care of yourself. You can start with this air purifier

Air purifiers are just the BEST gadgets to have, because they clean the air in your home by actually REMOVING pollution like dust, dander, & pollen. It’s handy, too. Instead of having to manually remove these contaminants, you can shift your focus to other pressing matters.

Speaking of pressing matters, let’s discuss our motivation situations.

I know more than anyone what it’s like to have a million things to do, but have no energy or motivation to even get started. Trust me, the burn out gets REAL, & once it starts to seep in, it’s so difficult to get back into the real groove of things.

Motivation is so important, especially when it comes to achieving your goals & dreams. In general, success partly depends on it. Of course, the success formula is made up of many other components; however, you must have the will to keep going. Otherwise, your point & purpose will be out of the window.

Personally, I’ve had so many setbacks in life, & yes, I did feel like just throwing in the towel, just because it was the easier route. But, I decided that I couldn’t allow myself to become complacent with my downfalls. I mean, there’s more to life, right?! Motivating myself has become the key to the continued exponential growth in everything I’m pursuing in life.

So, I thought I’d share with you some ways I stay motivated when I’m a hair away from just being over it all.

Ready? Here we go.

Have a vision.

This is first on purpose. Before you begin anything, you NEED to have a vision of your big picture or end goal. Without this, you have no real direction. My personal suggestion is to create a vision board. It’s a lot of fun & it makes you really think about your future & what you want for yourself. You can do this alone, or you can turn it into a party where you & your friends share your visions with each other. I went the party route, & all of the food, fun, & creativeness gave us a time to remember!

Turn your tasks into goals.

Tasks just sound daunting, huh? So, let’s take the dreariness out of the situation & make the most important tasks your goals. This just give a stronger sense of will power to keep going.

Make lists.

Lists just help you get stuff done. Plain & simple. Being able to physically see your goals makes it easier to achieve them. & at the end of the day, you can have the glorious & satisfying feeling of checking them off of your list.

Be consistent.

We’ve all heard the phrase, “consistency is key.” This couldn’t be more true. Continuously working at what you want means creating a positive cycle of growth. If you see how well you’re doing, it can motivate you to not stop. It’s much easier to push yourself to continue, rather than trying pick everything up & start again.

Plan & manage your time accordingly.

I can’t stress this enough: GET A DAYNA LEE PLANNER & A TIME CUBE! K. That is all. But no, really. This goes back to the idea of visuals creating motivation. Writing your lists in your planner & keeping it accessible at all times helps you stay on top of your game. Also, time blocking is just amazing! It’s a way to break up your day so you’re not stuck doing one thing for so long. Set time intervals for different things with 5 minutes for one part, 10 minutes for the next, & so on. You won’t regret it.

Remove distractions.

This is last on my list, but it’s definitely a major asset in this situation. Having distractions can cause you to stop & lose focus of what you’re doing. This is not what we want! So, turn of the TV, put your phone on silent, put yourself in a quiet place, & get to work!

So, after saying all this, my wish for you this spring is continue to take care of yourself & stay motivated in everything you do. ♥
