Hi, hello, HAPPY OCTOBER!

This is THE month out of the year that gives all the main character energy (besides December, of course).

So many good, cozy things happen in October, & it really makes you stop & breathe it all in.

The air ACTUALLY starts to get cooler in Texas. I know it happens way sooner in other areas, but Texas just needs a minute before she catches up. Once she does, fall sets in full swing, giving us all the nostalgic, relaxing vibes. & then, of course, Halloween & my birthday arrive. Two events that just so happen to, you know, share the same day. 😉

This is one of my favorite months to create for because it holds so much personality. October isn’t shy by any means. It’s bold & moody but somehow still soft around the edges. That’s the energy this month’s wallpaper drop is giving.

+ Harvest Notes: A Mini Series

Before we get into your freebies, I want to discuss this very cute mini series that will be happening this month, Harvest Notes.

If you’ve been here for a while (thank you for continuing to support TPOL), you know all about Blogtober. We’ve done it a few times on the blog, & it’s honestly great! I have & always will love it for what it is, which is, simply put, a way to celebrate the season in full creative force. Emphasis on the full creative force. It requires commitment, & with me being a person who loves to write in real time, if something gets thrown off in the rush of a busy October day, the post for that day gets pushed back which immediately increases the to-do list, because true Blogtober is posting all 31 days of the month.

Harvest Notes was born from this realization. It’s my way of giving myself a little breathing room for those imperfect days, while still coming here to give you guys that same festive, seasonal spirit we all love. It will be kind of like a journal that you guys get to dive into & enjoy with me.

It’s going to be so deliciously cozy & I hope you enjoy every single second of it.
