What I Wish More Women Knew Before Looking for Something More
Why community, stability, & building an additional income matter more than ever.
♡♡♡

I’ve had the pleasure of going to my company’s convention back in May.
Some time has passed, so I’m back to my normal routines.
But there’s one thing I haven’t been able to stop thinking about: the conversations I had while I was there.
One of my favorite parts of convention has always been getting to sit down with people & hear their stories. We don’t do enough of that in everyday life. We’re all busy, we’re all moving, & it’s easy to miss what’s really going on in someone else’s world.
This year I talked with women from all different walks of life. Some were working full-time & wanted a little extra breathing room each month. Some were raising young families & looking for something that fit around school pickups & soccer practices. Others had spent years building businesses that had recently changed in ways they never expected.
No two stories were the same, but after enough conversations, I realized they all had something in common.
No one was talking about getting rich overnight or finding the next big thing. They were talking about wanting something they could rely on.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized that probably isn’t unique to convention. It feels like a lot of people are in that place right now.
Life is expensive. Jobs change. Companies restructure. Even things that once felt secure can look completely different a year later. & in some cases, the times are much shorter. I don’t think most people expect life to be perfect—they’re just looking for a little more stability in a world that is constantly changing.
That realization made me think back to when I first got started.
I wasn’t looking to replace my career. I had a corporate job I genuinely enjoyed, & I still do. I simply saw an opportunity to build something alongside the life I already had.
What surprised me wasn’t just the business itself. It was everything that came with it.
The products gradually became part of my everyday routine because I genuinely loved using them. The friendships grew into real friendships that extended far beyond convention weekends. & over time, I found myself becoming more confident simply because I was surrounded by people who believed in me & encouraged me to keep growing.
Looking around this year’s convention reminded me that my story isn’t unusual.
Everyone starts for a different reason. For some, it’s extra income. For others, it’s flexibility, healthier products, or simply having another option if life takes an unexpected turn. None of those reasons are more important than the others. They’re just different starting points.
One group of women stayed on my mind long after the weekend ended, though.
The women who had spent years building something they believed in, only to watch it change. The women quietly trying to figure out what comes next. I genuinely felt for them because building anything meaningful takes time, consistency, & trust. When you’ve invested years into something, unexpected change can be incredibly hard.
I think that’s why I came home feeling so grateful.
My life is far from perfect. That fact is not lost on me at all.
But, I’m grateful because I know what I’ve found.

I’ve found products that have become part of my everyday life. I’ve found friendships that I know will last long an actual lifetime. I’ve found a company that still reflects the values that drew me here in the first place.
Most importantly, I’ve found people who remind me that success & kindness don’t have to be separate things.
When I look back on that weekend, that’s what I’ll remember most.
Behind every business, every opportunity, & every decision is a real person trying to build a life that feels a little more secure, a little healthier, or a little more hopeful than it did before.
I’d love to hear from you.
What’s something you’ve been looking for in this season of life? Maybe it’s more flexibility, healthier habits, meaningful friendships, or simply a little more peace of mind.
Whatever it is, I’d love to hear your story in the comments.
& if what I’ve shared with you today resonates with you. Let’s chat. Seriously. Because one you see it, you will see exactly what I mean. ☞ Wellness Store Details
