Blogtober 8th: Recently | New Book Alert

Have I ever mentioned that I just LOVE books? Because, I do. 

I always have. In fact, when I was younger, as far as I was concerned, my room held the best little library there was. My books & I were inseparable. One was always with me, no matter where I was. I had so many — some in just about every genre. & I’d always get so elated when I got a new one. 

Fast forward to today & nothing has changed except the fact that my in-home library has grown. Especially since both Barnes & Nobles & Books a Million aren’t far from my house. So yes, I practically live in the book stores, haha.

Books a Million has always been my favorite of the two. That’s where my newest book “The Nest” by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney is from. 

It’s about four siblings coming close to getting their inheritance, a trust fund referred to as “The Nest,” but one of them jeopardizes it, being all reckless & things. The plot is such a great attention grabber, but; if I’m being honest, when I was in the store, I totally judged this book by its cover. I mean, look at it. IT’S GORG! & the added bonus? It was on sale. I couldn’t walk out of BAM without it. 

I’ve only just started reading it, but the first page had me hooked. It wastes no time getting to the point & it’s super descriptive, which I don’t mind because that just makes it more worth while. I plan to do a review on it at a later date. Be sure to look out for it!
