Mid-Year Check In
Hi beautiful people!
I hope you’re getting started on what will be an amazing week.
Today I wanted to just check in with you guys. July has been a really long month so far, but it’s the middle of the year & it’s around these months that we start shifting to design what the rest of our year will look like. Amiright?
I know that is for sure what’s happening this way.
K, here’s the run down–there’re a few things, so bare with me.
First thing’s first, I’m happy to announce that TPOL now has a Facebook group! Yes, you read that right. I know I’m so late to the game, but I’m sure it will be worth it!
The truth is, after this past year, we are all looking for connections, so I wanted to create a safe space outside of the blog where we all can come together, chat, ask questions, share our lives, empower one another & so on.
Want in? Here are the quick deets:
+ Join HERE.
+ Read the rules. We aren’t in love with rules, but they are necessary in settings like this.
+ INTRODUCE yourself! Share a few fun facts & let’s get to know each other!
Easy peasy! I honestly can’t wait to see you there!
Alright, moving right along.
Have you ever heard of the 75 Hard Challenge? It’s where you do 75 consecutive days of what I like to call “the lifestyle makeover plan.” I call it that because it’s more than just working out.
75 Hard Deets:
+ 2 workouts a day
+ Read 10 pages of a nonfiction/personal development book a day
+ Drink a gallon of water a day
+ Pick 1 meal plan that works for you—no cheat meals
+ No alcohol
It’s pretty self-explanatory. I’m currently on round 2 of this challenge & I plan to get out of it everything it has to offer. 75 Hard has different purposes for different people. For me, it’s about exercising my willpower & mental toughness to achieve my goals & become a better version of myself.
You can totally join the fun if you’d like. Just click HERE. I have a small accountability group & we are really going for it this round!
K, now I want to quickly mention Shop Club. I’ve been shopping at this toxic-free wellness store for a little over a year & all I can say is that I love it more now than I did when I first discovered it.
I get ALL of my household items from there & I never again will have to worry about dangerous, cancer-causing chemicals being used in my home. Plus, I get to save money & it’s delivered right to my door. It’s THE safest way of life.
Last thing.
I want to discuss the mid-year shift that’s taking place. As I mentioned before, these are the months where we start to plan out what the rest of our year will look like. For me, that’s been writing down goals & game plans to reach them. I’m getting REALLY specific here because there’s just something about writing it all down that makes you feel SO much better when you finally make it happen.
There are 10 million & 1 planners out there, but the one I’m going to be using for the next 12 months is this Day Designer planner.
It’s one of the best I’ve seen so far. It really helps you get in every little detail.
I’ve already started planning & I feel so confident that this planner along with my consistency & hard work is going to see me through to & beyond the goals I have!
Alright, that’s all of the 411 for now.
I can’t really decide how to wrap this up because there are so many things discussed, aha! But just let me know where you are & how you’re feeling!
Join the groups, shoot me an email or DM to let me know how you’re moving throughout the rest of the year, drink your water.
Do all the things!
I can’t wait to hear from you.
Later, babes.
