Birthday Things + A Mindset Follow Up

Hey, hey, hey!

An exciting moment took place recently, & I’m still processing it all. The day was almost like one big fairytale moment.

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, October 31st was my birthday!

First thing’s first. I was so AMAZINGLY overwhelmed from all of the love & birthday wishes. I saw every single message, comment, & post. & I loved every phone call. I shared my gratitude on social media, but I just wanted to hop on here to say again, thank you all SO much! It means the world that you thought of me.

That, in itself made my entire day.

Of course, with the way life is still going (wild times, right?), there was no big celebration or Halloween party to host or attend. But, I did have a small dinner with my people.

I was at home all day until then, but that just goes to show how a little can go a long way. By the end of the day, I felt like I’d had the biggest birthday celebration ever. Emotionally & spiritually full is how I would describe it.

Okay, to say this past year was champagne & cheesecake would just be insanity, because I was introduced to a lot of majorly difficult things. Getting through it all was a process, but every single moment was a lesson.

I’m growing through what I’m going through. & for that, I’m grateful.

Because so many changes are taking place, I’m super excited to see what this next year brings. You know, positive vibes & things.

Speaking of positivity, as promised, I’m setting aside a moment to check back in with you guys.

Let’s discuss.

A while ago, I challenged us all to the 30 day test from “The Strangest Secret” that would ultimately allow us to take control of our minds, which would in turn set the path for our results.

I know it’s been more than 30 days, but I believe the extension was necessary. That just means we had more time to reset & start again if we needed to.

Transparent moment: I did have to restart once. Life is sometimes challenging, & changing the way you think doesn’t happen overnight, so it’s totally fine. & know that it is okay if you had to restart, too.

So far, I can say that I’ve noticed the change in the way I approach & handle things. It just feels AMAZING to not go to the darkest corner of my mind when life doesn’t go as planned. It feels liberating, even. I’m here for it.

I’m going to continue to challenge myself, because it can only get better.

I’d love to hear how it went for you!

Did you try it? Did you have to reset? Where are you now with your mindset? Give me ALL the deets.

Okay, I’m writing this Wednesday night (the joys of writing real-time), so now it’s time for bed.

Big love to you all!
