Why You Should Do It Afraid

Oh my goodness, hellooooo!!

I know it’s been SO long since I’ve posted. I’ve just been taking some time to get it together, because, ya know? Life. If you’ve been around TPOL lately, you know that a lot has been happening. So, time for processing was vital.

But, good news! In my time away, I have also been working on some really exciting things that I will be announcing pretty soon! So keep your eyes peeled!

Alright, I’m going to try to keep today’s post short, sweet, & to the point.

This one is for ALL of us.

Fear is the number one opponent that can quite literally stop us in our tracks.

We find ourselves having really big goals that scare our pants off, & that alone is sometimes what gets the best of us.

Today I’m here to tell you that facing your fears is exactly what the doctor ordered. It builds courage & resilience like no other. I’m always talking about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, because getting out of your comfort zone is the only way that true growth can take place.

That’s not all. Doing what scares you can also present massive opportunities that otherwise would have never been possible. Trust me on this. I’ve experienced it first hand.

Do. It. Afraid.

What’s the worst that can happen? Just think. Should things not go as planned, it will be a lesson & still provide knowledge & growth for how to move forward when you do it again next time. We’re talking resilience.

The best? Wild success that will have you more confident & smiling from ear to ear. Lots of joy. The amazing feeling of being able to say, “I did it!” & don’t get me started on where it can take you. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

So you see? You can’t really go wrong. & I’m sure you know this isn’t a new thing. There’s even a book by Joyce Myer. You can find it here. It’s all about identifying, confronting, and conquering fears that hold you back from living your best life! Definitely one to be added to your reading list.

Okie dokie. I said short & sweet, so this is me keeping my word.

I’m off to plan more content & to get ready for big, exciting, SCARY things! 😉

Talk soon babes!

  1. For many years I refused to step out of my comfort zone, and as expected, nothing was changing for me. The minute I got “comfortable with being uncomfortable,” my dreams started to take off. Thank you for sharing this post.

  3. I’ve always had a hard time stepping out of my comfort zone. I was always afraid of things going wrong. The time I did, I learnt a lot about myself but I wasn’t fully comfortable out of my zone haha. Certain probably didn’t go my way but I definitely learnt from it. Great post!
