Frosted Diaries | Winter Skincare Favorites ; The Pursuit of L

Winter is coming.

& we know what that means.

One morning, your skin just… shifts. You go to wash your face & suddenly it’s tight, dry, & borderline mad at you. In other words, it’s your skin asking for help.

Since I started shopping at my favorite online wellness store, I’ve taken my skincare more seriously. Not in an obsessive way, but in a way that matters. I pay closer attention to how my skin responds, what it needs in different seasons, & which products actually support it instead of just sounding good.

Over time, I’ve learned that winter isn’t really the season to experiment recklessly. It’s when I return to what I trust & adjust as needed. This store carries several skincare lines, but when the colder months settle in, I always come back to the Honey & Rose collection. It’s been my winter base for years, with a few thoughtful additions that have earned their place more recently.

This routine isn’t brand new. It’s a few well-loved products that I come back to every year, plus a couple of recent finds that earned their spot.

Sei Bella Skincare

Honey & Rose Essential Bundle

My go-to when it comes to winter skincare. It calms skin while helping defend it against dryness, redness, & outside irritants.

Why I Always Come Back to the Honey & Rose Line

This line has been the base of my winter routine for a while now. It keeps things simple, but effective. It’s hydrating & soothing.

What I Use Daily (Morning + Night)

Cleansing in winter is where things can go wrong quickly. Too harsh, & the dryness worsens. Too gentle, & buildup lingers.

The Honey & Rose Soothing Foam Cleanser strikes that balance for me. It cleans without leaving my skin feeling stripped. My face still feels comfortable after rinsing, which matters more to me in winter than a squeaky-clean feeling ever could.

After cleansing, I always reach for the Honey & Rose Toning Mist. This step feels small, but it makes a difference. It brings hydration back immediately & preps my skin for what comes next. Morning or night, this one never gets skipped.

Daytime Hydration

During the day, my focus shifts to comfort & wearability. I want hydration that supports my skin without just sitting on top of it.

The Honey & Rose Daily Soothing Lotion has been my go-to for that reason. It absorbs quickly & layers well if you wear makeup. My skin feels supported through the day without feeling weighed down. In winter, that balance can be hard to find, which is why this one stays in rotation.

Nighttime Care: Repair Over Rules

Evenings are where I give my skin more flexibility. I don’t follow a strict checklist at night. I pay attention instead.

If you know me, you know I don’t wear makeup, but I LOVE a good waterproof mascara. We all know how hard it can be to wash it off, but that’s where the Honey & Rose Balm to Oil Makeup Eraser comes in. It melts everything down gently & feels especially comforting when my skin is already feeling dry. I follow with my cleanser so I’m not overworking my face.

From there, I choose based on how my skin feels.

On nights when my skin feels depleted, I reach for the Honey & Rose Overnight Recovery Cream. It’s rich enough to feel restorative without being heavy. When I need something extra, I add the Honey & Rose Bi-Phase Recovery Oil. I don’t use it every night, because you just know when you need it.

What I’ve Added

The biggest updates to my winter routine came from a product launch earlier this year that I couldn’t unsee at The Wellness Store.

Let’s just call the Girls Night In Hydrating Overnight Mask “beauty sleep in a jar.” It has rich ingredients that melt into the skin while you’re at rest so you can rise in the a.m. feeling (& looking) years younger. I use this when I’m ready for a nice little reset.

Lip care has also become non-negotiable for me in winter. The Girls Night Overnight Lip Duo made that easy. It’s simple, effective, & one of those additions that quietly makes a difference without demanding extra effort.

Girls Night Overnight Lip Duo

We all know lips can be all the drama in the colder months. This duo gem takes care of it all with an exfoliating scrub & a nourishing balm.

How I Rotate Without Overdoing It

Not every product gets used every night, & that’s by design. Winter skincare isn’t about piling things on. It’s about responding thoughtfully. Some nights call for more nourishment. Others don’t. Learning the difference has made my routine feel sustainable rather than exhausting.

Winter can be harsh, but it doesn’t have to be punishing. With the right foundation & a little flexibility, skincare becomes one of the absolute best things you can do for yourself .

This routine has evolved with me, & right now, it feels exactly right for the season I’m in.

It’s all about choosing what your skin actually needs & letting that be enough.

Chat soon, babes!
